working on a new tileset...

Update will be in a day or two! I've written scripts for a week straight... Basically I reworked the character creator (again) and the system is much better! I'll explain when release Ver 15
Next update might break the game again lol! I found a much cleaner way to script the events for the character creator and display the pictures. I'm also using variables now which is so much easier, but I have to rewrite everything again ;-;. But I'm adding so many new color options so I guess it balances out? idk
There seems to be a bug during the first quest with the berries: as soon as you leave the village you are stuck on the world map (playing as male).
But played a bit on V11 as female (other newer versions seem to all have a bug where youi either freeze on the world map of get an exception during the start of the game).
I liked what I saw there. Please keep up with it. Bugs are a normal part of developing

I haven't downloaded or played the game yet or anything, I just wanted to say it's very cool to see someone put so much into creating something just with basic RPG Maker assets and their own time + skill. This is obviously a passion project for you and I'm always happy to see people release their quirky interesting ideas!

Thanks I appreciate that! I've always wanted to be a game developer so I thought I'd give a shot. I have to admit the only reason I use the base assets is because I have no idea how to make tile sets at all lol. I'm still learning which is why I've really been enjoying making this project!

Honestly, I'd say some screenshots of the game on your store page would go a long way.
Perhaps a list of relevant content players can expect to see or content that you would like to add in the future within the store description too.
These two things could help entice more people to try out your game and, in turn, garner more feedback.
All in all, I'd advise any game developer to focus on making the game they want to make, first and foremost and use any feedback to temper and adjust based on what fits their personal vision the best.
Thanks for the advice! Yeah I think I will try doing that. There is a lot of things I want to add but I'm still trying to figure how to work rpg maker, I just learned how to use switches like two days ago lol. But yeah thanks for your advice and feedback :)

Kind of, I had played some of the more adult games on itch and they sort of inspired me to try to make a game. And I had recently bought rpg maker on sale, so I thought I'd give it a try.
